    Calling Script from outside mission PBO

    I found the cause of all my issues, but I am having some trouble correctly understanding the fix. basically due to the medical system it's registering the medical script as the killer thus since it is a script it's returning bad data and that is why the victim is always listed as the killer. I found some info online on how to fix that by using the below code. _UNIT addEventhandler ["killed", { params ["_unit" ,"_killer"]; _killer = if (isNull _killer) then { _unit getVariable ["ace_medical_lastDamageSource", _killer]; } else { _killer }; // do your stuff }]; Been trying to implement that into ExileZ however according to their gitHub. lastDamageSource is only available local. It is not broadcasted over the net (and not intended to) They suggested the following If you need the damageSource on other clients, I'd suggest a globalEvent with the parameters [_unit, _killer] and handle the event on each client. however I'm unsure of what I would need to do to get that into ExileZ in a working method for a server. any recommendations on how I can accomplish this would be greatly appreciated @kuplion if you or anyone else have any ideas I would be very grateful I've been researching and trying to fix it for hours today but I think I'm starting to hit a wall that is a bit above my current skill set or I'm simply overthinking it haha.

    unpack exad_dv @ExileServer >> addons >> exad_dv Open the functions folder and edit fn_spawnDeployableVehicle.sqf Line 23 _spawnPos = _player modelToWorld [0,2,0]; the number 2 is the distance from the player, just change it to 4 and you won't have anymore issues.

    It can only use decimals, regardless of how you enter the number. Damage in Arma is between 0 (no damage) and 1 (full damage/dead). If a script, any script, is asking you to pick between 0 and 100 it is then converting that to fit within the 0-1 value required by Arma.

    you didn't have to do much searching for that "fix", reading ExAd install instructions which are in the ExAd package would do the trick. :p

    Тайм-аут в конфиге миссий настраивается, что касается самой миссии, то тут на все воля фантазии, есть заготовки под статические миссии, там по факту только нужно указать место миссии, ботов расставить, оружие статическое, ящики и технику, технику тоже можно сделать какую угодно и сколько угодно конкретно для данной миссии

  18. Hi all, I am having a problem with the XM8 spawn-able Quad and Mozzie. The XM8 buttons work fine, the player (with item in inventory for spawning such as Extension Cord) begins the animation to spawn the vehicle, the extension cord is consumed and a message pops up saying "Vehicle Deployed" ....but the vehicle is not visible...anywhere. I am new to server creation so I apologize if this issue is a easy fix to a trained eye. Here is the code lines including quad and mozzies from my config.cpp file (sorry if I have put the code in incorrectly.. first post on this website.)
  19. Hey fellas, having an issue crafting full fuel canisters. The interaction group does not seem to be registering at the fuel sources specified in config.cpp. It looks like it is calling .p3d files (models?). I'm running a Chernarus Redux map and only way to fill canisters currently is by draining fuel from vehicles.     Ya i just am having an issue with non persistent vehicles with the repair script i have where i believe based on looking at this script where the hitppoint damage is set as say 50 instead of .5 like how persistent vehicles show up on my database so i was wondering if there was a way for this script to use decimals instead of whole numbers or is it possible to use decimals in the class spawnvehicle (i hope this all makes sense im on mobile)

    so im having an issue im guessing is from this script with SARS not being able to figure out hitpoints (im just wondering if anyone has had this issue too) client local RPT Bones_fnc_salvageAndRepairMenu.sqf ExileServer_world_spawnVehicles.sqf (last part is commented out because of another error i was getting of a missing ; ) edit: is there a way to convert the numbers back to decimals in the script instead of whole numbers ei 0.5 instead of 50 for 50%
