  1. so after the jets DLC release i was curious as to how to implement the USS Freedom. and after reading it was done in editor i thought i would try and learn how to edit the map. it took a while to get it working and after some help from @Rafterman and @110 and also thanks to @Ambu5h for the ExileServer_system_trading_network_purchaseVehicleRequest override he published. i've decided to include my files to help others implement the USS Freedom. download and unpack your mission pbo, eg. Exile.Altis.pbo Copy this code to the bottom of your initserver.sqf. Next add this to the bottom of your initplayerlocal.sqf next add this to the bottom of your init.sqf next Create a file named "ExileServer_system_trading_network_purchaseVehicleRequest.sqf" HAS to be exacly that name and place it in a folder called overrides in your mission file. And put the following code in it: Goto your config.cpp in your missionfile and at the "class CfgExileCustomCode" add the following line: open your mission.sqm file and add the trader icon map marker using the same co-ordinates for "Land_Carrier_01_base_F" in initserver.sqf Now repack your mission pbo and upload to your server, good luck.     Battle Royale Spawn Aircraft

    Hereby i present to you all an idea ive had for well over a year. Wondered why noone else ever made this, quickly figured out its never as easy as it seems. Had to keep it on hold for a while, but for now most bugs seem to be worked out. BATTLE ROYALE SPAWNING FOR EXILE. What does it do? It creates an aircraft of choice on server startup. Then has it fly a specific route on cycle. It disables damage to this aircraft. Players that are in an exile family will get the option to spawn at "Aircraft". (It has to be families-only due to some AI 'bugs?' when non family members join the plane). This will place them inside the aircraft with multiple parachutes inside it (different kinds to give them options to chose from). Players can then decide for themselves when they want to eject from the aircraft. So they can wait untill they are closest to their base or last location of death. Options Change the type of aircraft that should be used to drop off players. You can set your own route for the aircraft to fly on any map. Set only 1 waypoint to have the plane circle that specific area. But this kind of beats the purpose of this script, set 2 waypoints to have him fly back and forth. You can set the speed it should fly on. ("LIMITED", "NORMAL", "FULL") You can set the type of aircraft and its constant fly height. The height should be well above 800m to prevent AI with AA missiles from locking on and wasting ammo. Keep the same aproximate height in mind when setting the waypoints. FILES: spawncraft.sqf - (This script spawns the aircraft and pilot) ExileServer_object_player_createBambi.sqf - This is where the player gets put into the aircraft when that spawn option is selected. ExileClient_gui_selectSpawnLocation_show.sqf - This is where the spawn option is added to the spawn location list. ExileServer_object_player_network_hasPlayerRequest.sqf - Create or merge this file if you already have one. ExileClient_object_player_network_hasPlayerResponse.sqf - Create or merge this file if you already have one. INSTALLATION: 1. Create all of the files above and place them in your mission file. In a location of your choice. 2. Add an ExileSpawnZone named "Aircraft" in your mission.sqm. { position[] = {8000, 1, 8000}; name="Aircraft"; text="Aircraft"; markerType="ELLIPSE"; type="ExileSpawnZone"; colorName="ColorBlack"; alpha=0; fillName="SolidBorder"; a = 5; b = 5; drawBorder=0; atlOffset=0; }; 3. In either description.ext or config.cpp of you mission file create or overwrite the following classes: class CfgNetworkMessages { class hasPlayerResponse { module="object_player"; parameters[]= { "BOOL", "BOOL" }; }; }; 4. Goto your config.cpp in your missionfile and add the following custom overwrites: ExileClient_object_player_network_hasPlayerResponse = "<Your-Folder>\ExileClient_object_player_network_hasPlayerResponse.sqf"; ExileServer_object_player_network_hasPlayerRequest = "<Your-Folder>\ExileServer_object_player_network_hasPlayerRequest.sqf"; ExileClient_gui_selectSpawnLocation_show = "<Your-Folder>\ExileClient_gui_selectSpawnLocation_show.sqf"; ExileServer_object_player_createBambi = "<Your-Folder>\ExileServer_object_player_createBambi.sqf"; 5. Go into init.sqf (or create one if you dont have one yet) and add the following line: [] execVM "<Your-Folder>\spawncraft.sqf"; 6. Make sure all your paths and references are correct. If you add your files in a folder inside your missionfile. Make sure your overwrites section is also refering to the proper location. 7. Compile mission file... Start server... Login... Create family... Die... Select Aircraft... Fly around. SIDE NOTE: I have been testing this with 2 players at most, trying to get it to break. The families used to be a problem but dont seem to couse any issues anymore (since its disabled for non family players). However i have not been able to test this in a high population envoirment with multiple families and groups spawning at the same time. If you have a decent population and want to use this, please send me a PM so i can join and keep an eye out for bugs or issues that i was not able to find myself. Help request: The limitation to Family's is due to the AI pilots stopping at their next waypoint if someone is not in a family and gets put into the aircraft. (disableAI "WAYPOINT_STOP"; doesnt help) This is probably related to the reactions of AI to units with different groups being placed in their vehicle. What im guessing is that the AI automatically tries to land and unload but disableAI does not have any affect on this what so ever. If anyone with more experience with AI can help me out with this i might be able to enable the spawn option for any player. Huge thanks to @Andrew_S90 for helping me out sorting out the network messages needed for fixing the family issue. I learned something there, that was a good day. UPDATE - 12 June 2017: - Fixed issue with players spawning dead in the aircraft. Updated createBambi.sqf - Fixed plane running out of fuel. Updated spawncraft.sqf

    Issues with Aircraft Spawn Distance

    I'm about at my wits end with this one. I'm running a CUP cherno map. I built trade zones into an a3_custom.pbo using the method described here: So the exile vendors are all exported using 3den and pasted into initlocal in the actual Exile.Chernarus mission pbo. InitServer is pasted into the a3_custom.pbo. So one performs the placement of objects and the other places the exile vendors. I have two aircraft trade zones. Obviously each will be used to purchase and spawn aircraft. The problem I'm encountering is that when I attempt to buy an aircraft it will spawn very close to the trader himself and destroy the vehicle. Blackfish, for example, spawn damn near inside the hangar where the trader stands at the edge of. I thought to remedy this by placing an invisible heli pad onto the airfield itself at both airfields and then copy that (with exile 3den) over to the file inside what becomes the a3_custom pbo. No luck. Booted up the server with the new a3_custom and the spawn distance problem persists. I attempted to place the invis heli pad into the mission file itself by opening Exile.Cherno.pbo and placing it in the editor (one invis heli pad at each airfield). I then deleted the invis heli pads that were inside a3_custom. Uploaded both new .pbos and restarted. No luck. Still persists. I then found the following overwrite and installed: Still no success. Problem is persistent. If anyone has any ideas I'd be grateful. Thanks in advance.

    USS Freedom Help

    im trying to add the USS Freedom to my server with a few trader on the top deck of it. first time i did it it all worked other than the ship moved once i was in game, so i went back into editor and completely moved everything to another postilion. now i can get everything showing other than the ship? here is my initserver.sqf and here is my initplayerlocal.sqf any help would be greatly appreciated.     Hades PvP

    Hades PvP is a brand new server! We have added items to traders including tanks, armoured aircraft and armoured vehicles! We are running Exile 1.0.2 and we will keep this updated every time a new release is out. We are currently running an open beta. All reputation, money & items will be kept once the server is finalised, so you won't notice any change to your account while playing here! The owner is active on this server daily, so if you ever have any issues, you won't have to wait to get them resolved! There are gear crate locations, missions, capture zones plus loads more!
  6. Hi team, Thanks for hosting the server! I like it. But to the point. I have been saving the 5000 caps for a week to buy me the yellow helicopter, I drove all the way to the vendor south of the big mountain in the south/west (bottom left corner of the map), I got excited I would finally have my heli, I bought it, it spawned (with me inside, of course) on the mountain slope, fell down and exploded. Would it be possible to check the aircraft spawn location for that vendor so the same thing doesnt happen to others? Also, if it is possible, could I get my cash back?   8. Hey guys, i got massive problems setting up Aircraft Traders on a custom map. I put one at the end of a road, one at a Airfield and one on a Hill. the only one that works is that on the hill .. but he spawns helicopters at the hill side, so their sliding down a bit... The one at the Airfield is pretty bitchy about his position, just centimeters make him not spawn anything, even if the whole airfield is empty! I dont think the functions works here correct for searching a safe location , or is really poor adjusted. Also the Aircrafts spawn far, far away from the traders position (up to 300 meters!), which can cause them to not be in a safezone anymore. Any way to fix this? I searched for minimum distance of vehicle spawning and found something with 60 meters, but couldnt find it anymore , and moreover dont want to change this as 60meters sound pretty solid. -> This is just for Aircraft Trader, Vehicles seem to work fine!
