Napf Castle Mission v2.1 (logic + mapping v2.0) thanks to @Pradatoru for mapping I decided to release this mission for Napf as it demonstrates a new way of loading mapped objects which allows for a mix of simulated and simple objects so you get dynamic lighting at night and I wrote it for my new Napf server. This mission uses 2 sets of mapping, 1 in a3_custom.pbo to load on server start and also Napf_Castle_Objects to load in a few extra objects on mission spawn to make the area change a little when a mission is triggered. You MUST have DMS installed to run this mission. Download from : https://github.com/redned70/DMSStaticMissions/tree/master/Napf Install Instructions 1. 2 Choices depending on your current set up (I don't use the DMS on server start load mapping method to increase my options) If you currently dont run a custom mapping load PBO then: Get @ExileServer\addons\a3_custom.pbo and add into your server @ExileServer\addons folder If you do currently run a custom mapping load PBO then: add [] execVM "a3_custom\mapcontent\DMS_Napf_Castle.sqf"; to your fn_init.sqf and add the DMS_Napf_Castle.sqf file to your /mapcontent/ folder. 2. Extract your DMS PBO file and add the following 2 files into the correct places: @ExileServer\addons\a3_dms\missions\static\Napf_Castle_Mission.sqf @ExileServer\addons\a3_dms\objects\static\Napf_Castle_Objects.sqf 3. Add the line ["Napf_Castle_Mission",8] from @ExileServer\addons\a3_dms\config.sqf into your DMS config.sqf 4.   2. Hi all, I recently port Halv's paintshop to work with Exile, including persistent textures betwen restarts with uniform, backpack and any vehicle. I made this for my own purpose, but I share with the community because is a requirement from the GPL v3 License. I can update the install instructions if doesn't work properly, but I think that don't forget anything. Read carefully all instructions and scripts. Basically better formatted, smaller and better thought out code which gives you more control over more variations, and what's more I tried (probably not very well) to explain it all so you can make your own. I DONT claim to be an expert, I just keep trying until it works and I understand a bit more which is why I changed so much of the code. Thanks to @CEN for testing since my client is really buggered, @Defent and @eraser1 for DMS, @second_coming for Occupation (and I borrowed some code which was better than mine - listed in How To document) and to @BlackheartsGaming for helping with adding cash into vehicles. What is in this file. this release is a F.O.B (forward operating base) that me and my friend built,because he is in the military he described how the base he would be staying would look like therefore making a similar base to the one he stayed on. This was released as a BETA (looks complete now so turned from beta to release) and therefore may contain bugs/errors/typos but I decided to finally put it out there for people to play with and hopefully either help me test and fix it (if it is still broken). The version 1.0 and noheli versions were originally tested and worked - thanks to help from @jmayr2000 but the heli version did not spawn a heli although the rest worked. I have some questions with the "Structures items spawn system" using: mission.sqm , init.sqf , initServer.sqf and initPlayerLocal.sqf please the ones you know exactly how each file works for spawns, define it if I'm wrong... what I know It's usually like that: mission.sqm = for mision markers , bambizones, traderzones and other custom scripts... initServer.sqf = for item structures Spawn and other custom scripts... initPlayerLocal.sqf = for NPCs, Traders, Guards and other custom scripts... init.sqf = ??? its for create custom terrain just starting server? like USSfreedom(init.sqf) in this post: thanksss

  20. Greetings! I have a small, private server that I only play with my family on. I am capable of running and editing my server, but coding is way out of my area of expertise. I am looking to pay someone $50.00 USD (via Paypal) to jumble the delirium script (ExileClientPostProcessingDelirium) so that when player damage reaches 1 (death), the player does not die, but experiences the most severe form of delirium (slow movement, awkward movement (if applicable)). No damage received (god-mode) for 15 minute countdown (the delirium should be so bad that they cannot properly aim/shoot). If the player does not receive medical attention within 15 minutes (instadoc), they will die (player damage = 1). For fairness and transparency, I would say that the first person to post a 100% WORKING version of this in this thread will receive payment. I will message the coder privately to obtain paypal info so I can send payment. PLEASE post below if you will be working on this.   21. so after the jets DLC release i was curious as to how to implement the USS Freedom. and after reading it was done in editor i thought i would try and learn how to edit the map. it took a while to get it working and after some help from @Rafterman and @110 and also thanks to @Ambu5h for the ExileServer_system_trading_network_purchaseVehicleRequest override he published. i've decided to include my files to help others implement the USS Freedom. download and unpack your mission pbo, eg. Exile.Altis.pbo Copy this code to the bottom of your initserver.sqf. Next add this to the bottom of your initplayerlocal.sqf next add this to the bottom of your init.sqf next Create a file named "ExileServer_system_trading_network_purchaseVehicleRequest.sqf" HAS to be exacly that name and place it in a folder called overrides in your mission file. And put the following code in it: Goto your config.cpp in your missionfile and at the "class CfgExileCustomCode" add the following line: open your mission.sqm file and add the trader icon map marker using the same co-ordinates for "Land_Carrier_01_base_F" in initserver.sqf Now repack your mission pbo and upload to your server, good luck.     Monkey's Welcome Toasts

    Monkey's Welcome Toasts This is a script that allows for welcome messages when a player first joins the server in the form of Exile Toasts. Download from my GitHub: https://github.com/GamingAtDeathsDoor/Monkeys-Welcome-Toasts You can customize the way they look and the text in the toasts super easily by changing the variables set at the very beginning of the script. All you have to do is change them to be your server name, community tags, website links, teamspeak IP and donation link if you have one. You can also change the colors easily by getting the Hex code of the colors you want for the text and the RGBA color format in ArmA for the toast color too and it will carry through the whole script. The script is set up to display a new message after a certain amount of time so it's not spammy. The player name and server's map is picked up automatically so there is no need to edit those! There are a set that are important and have a different color configuration to the rest of the messages!

    Dayz survivors is a server to die for if you like that survival aspect of old school DayZ we use to love in arma 2. We bring alot of custom stuff to the server made by the dev team.
