    Hello, many people are looking for Exile Taviana or Esseker mission files. I release this files for community. Esseker for 1.0.4 I cant test it because i cant run server in my notebook (Mysql problems).     Fixed Vehicle Spawns

    I discovered yesterday that the default vehicle spawn script has a couple of bugs in it. It's not too much of a problem with island maps, but on maps with land in the debug area, it's a bit of a nightmare; vehicles end up spawning outside of the map, needlessly eating performance and just generally looking extremely messy So, I fixed it up. I will post links to specific threads or posts or website and I will do my best not to mirror any files just to be sure I am not breaking any rules. Notes : Due to my limited (almost none) skill of scripting, there might be some cases I might not be able to help you out. This thread is meant to have collective support from other guys of forum (Exile community) to help each other out. P.S. THIS IS A TUTORIAL TO START FROM SCRATCH ========================================================================================== OPERATION : ESSEKER Requirements: @Exile (duh) @ExileServer (and again, it's basic server installation) @AllInArmaTerrainPack NOTE: HAVE THE LATEST AIA:TP VERSION AND APPLY THE HOTFIX. @Esseker (You can also find Esseker map within the Steam WORKSHOP) Esseker server .bikey Esseker Loot Spawns by @Hollow (DISCOUNTINUED) unPBO tool OR Eliteness (Can be found easily with a small Google search, depends which one you prefer) Notepad ++ (or if you use Eliteness, you don't need N++) m3Editor by @Maca134 ------ This is used for custom trader zone. Installation: In this stage, it is straight forward if you understand and have known before how to setup an Exile multiplayer server. If you do not have the prior knowledge, you may continue to read. A few notes before going in the installation stage: This is a tutorial made for self-hosted servers and I am not familiar with online services offering to host in a dedicated area. 1. For convenience sake I will cite @Maca134's guide / server package that includes the client files and server files of Exile. "" 2. Please, make sure your vanilla server with Altis does function correctly. If not, you may ask for help within this thread or search around in the forums. 3. After all of the above is done, extract the remainder in your server directory folder. In my case, it is located in "C:\Arma\Server\". 3. a) When you have successfully extracted @Esseker and @AllInArmaTerrainPack in the directory. INSTALL THE .BIKEY OF ESSEKER AND AIA:TP (add them to your Keys folder in the directory. 3. b) Proceed to go in @ExileServer and edit "config.cfg". 4. You need to modify a line under the class Mission (then class Exile). You have to modify the template so it goes from "template = Exile.Altis;" to "template = Exile.Esseker;". Now everything should be set, it is time to add what is missing : Traders, Safezones, Spawns and Loot spawns. ====================================================================================================== MAKING SPAWNS The rest of this tutorial will be time consuming. You will need to tinker around and find what markers, sensors (triggers) suits you best. 1. Fire up your ARMA 3 Editor with Esseker and AIA:TP loaded and scout for any possible spawnzones you want your players and yourself included to spawn. 2. Make a new mission file and add markers of where you want it to be. 3. After saving, get to where you have saved your newly made mission file (it might be named Esseker.Esseker). 3. a) There will be a mission.sqm inside that folder, open it up with your favorite text editor and copy all : class Markers { bla bla blah }; and replace (or add) to your mission.sqm file of the server. 4. I will provide an example of how it must look like (this is one of my spawns). Follow @Hollow's tutorial within his post for the installation of Esseker loot spawns. ======== Trader / Safezone ====== Due to the complexity and the anger-inducing process this might do to some, I will include a tutorial that has already been done by @spear.     ARTIC Exile Hardcore

    ARTIC Exile is an upcoming Hardcore Exile Server. This server is ARTIC’s try to bring ArmA Exile to another level. Our goal ist to make things different. We don’t want Exile to be a pure deathmatch, but a game with survival feeling, immersion and great atmosphere. We will have our first public test and launch on January 28th 2018, at 7pm CET. Everybody is welcome! Be sure to join our Steam group and Discord Server. You can find the links below. What does Hardcore mean? The server does only allow first person perspective, no matter what you are doing or where you are. Additionally, we want good loot to be harder to find and decrease overpowered items in general. This does not mean, that we will remove high calibre weapons, but they will be rare and expensive. We even decreased the sell price factor, to make looting more effective, instead of buying at traders. There is much more to discover, and more information will be available very soon. About the public test As stated above, the first launch will be on January 28th 2018 (7pm CET). Remember that the launch will take place on a test machine, which means that the server’s performance might not be the best. You will most likely even find an amount of bugs and other issues. Please report those on our Discord server. WIP Please note that server and website are still in progress and not in their final state. I am still working on many things, so see this as a beta.     Exile Esseker Map

    So I have been looking for the past few days if there is any Exile.Esseker.pbo files that someone is willing to share so that I can run the map on my server? My second question is whether there is an updated guide to creating it from scratch. I have seen quite a lot of posts from two years ago but a lot of the pre-made important code like loot spawns is either outdated or discontinued. I would appreciate any help. Another quick question can I replace AiA with CUP addons or should I stick to using AiA?

Hello, I am trying to create a server with esseker "v0.8" map but i am not able to make the mission (Exile.Essker.pbo), something is always missing or I can´t simply join the server after connecting. Can someone help me pls? I need to know what mods/addons I need to use and the mission with the safezones and loot already included.

    Cannot load Esseker

    Guys, Easy one for most of you. I am trying to create my own Exile Esseker map. I have just started a hosted server and can get Altis working with DMS and Exilez2 which was easy enough but I cant seem to load the Esseker map. I get the content missing or deleted error. I believe my problem is with the mission.sqm. I have tried: "exile_client", "Esseker", "Ryanzombies", "ryanzombiesfunctions", "CUP_Core", But I guess this is wrong. Any ideas? Thanks

  12. Hello, good evening! I decided to write this post because I needed help. I would like to use the mod exile on my dedicated server. I use TADST to start the missions and addons. I'd like to keep my original mission and add the exile mod on it, then I'd add the modules "eat" and "drink" and the modules building blocks. Could somebody explain to me how to proceed in details ?     Server error: Player without identity

    Hello, I'm going to try and break down this weird error with you guys. 1. I can join the server just after a restart, my friends can't join. 2. If I restart, let my friend join first, I won't be enable to get in either together with my friend. What happens when the error happens: 1. You get stuck on the loading screen or you'll get a missing texture error which you can't close.     Esseker Loot Spawn Problem

    Hello, so for the past few days I've been hit with the problem of no loot spawning on the server, I thought I found the problem in which I thought was here: After 3 hours of making the changes I thought I needed, I booted up the server and to my surprise after I thought I fixed it, there was still no loot. I have one idea left and that is to make the loot.hpp file look like this: class Land_i_Stone_Shed_V2_dam_F { table = "Tourist"; positions[] = {{3.65891, 2.19003, -0.102753}, {0.442713, -1.67892, 0.0203171}}; }; Instead of this: class Land_GH_Platform_F { table = "Tourist" positions[] = { {0.317871,-3.29419,0.126602}, {-0.258545,0.026123,0.126602}, {0.334717,2.20825,0.126602} }; }; I don't know if or why this would make a difference but with code you never know. After I talked with some other people and looking into more threads I then found this thing: I thought this was it, I thought maybe this was the problem? But yet again no, nothing changed, there was no loot. So that's where I am up to and how I've got to where I am, I kind of understand it to a point but I just don't know what is going wrong for nothing to spawn. I haven't really asked others to help directly other than one person in which I asked a few question on how this stuff works, so on so forth.     Esseker Map Additions

    Hey everyone, *NGC* GMCtyphoon92 here from NoKturnal Gaming Community I am releasing my custom map content to be run server side for the Esseker map. Put the .pbo in your @ExileServer / addons folder and it will fire up. Adds many Buildings for Military areas as well as Industrial Areas. I will also release my loot tables if anyone needs them.   24. Hello All, I am getting the following error when starting my server: "No more slot to add connection at 032008 (3258.4,7991.3)". There are 10 occurrences of this at the end of my RPT file followed by "22:04:03 NetServer::finishDestroyPlayer(520786591): DESTROY immediately after CREATE, both cancelled". Please see a small portion of the code below. When I try to join the server I just get a black screen. Full RPT file can be found at: I have the following mods installed plus their keys: Exile, Esseker, MAS Weapons, MAS Vehicles, and TRYK. I have looked through the forums and tried many google searches to try to resolve this but haven't had much luck finding anything useful. I followed PDG's instructions to set the server up.   25. Hey Guys So I am wanting to create a heavy Exile Esseker Roleplaying server, but before I do that, I would need to know if this community would be interested in such a server. Breakdown: The server will feature a heavy ruleset. Here are some examples: No Killing on Sight: - Killing on sight will only be allowed if the player follows an Initiation protocol. Powergaming: - Defined as knowing information that your character would not know in game. Backstories: - Players must have a detailed backstory and follow their backstory in game. Website Integration: It would be pretty much impossible to run an Roleplay server without web integration. This would include Forums, A Reputation System, Lore, Backstory, Clan Databases and Such. Mods: Mods will be implemented to help improve Roleplay. Such mods like ACRE, ACE and mods to make the experience more realistic. Realistic Setting: I myself would like to implement survivor outposts and camps to make it a lot more realistic. I would also like to add content that users can submit. Map: I would like to use Esseker because it is such a beautiful map. However, it is unfinished so Id have to consider Chernarus for the time being. Please leave your thoughts below. Thanks, z3sp.
