Haven't seen this brought up in a while, but I know a lot of people have been wanting it so here it goes again. With the latest update, base raiding is finally a profitable activity, mostly because of the ability to steal flags. Now that the flag plays a pivotal role in your base, it would be nice to have the ability to move it around after base construction. It is currently impossible to hide your flag in high areas of your base, such as towers and top levels. This makes base raiding too predictable because you can be certain that a team's flag is sitting on the ground level or very close to it. One of the problems discussed with moving the flag pole is that it also moves your building radius, thus opening ways to exploit it. I believe the solution for this is to keep the building radius bound to where you first placed the flag and it can never be adjusted, but the physical flag pole can be moved around within the build radius without affecting construction. Also, another nice check would be: When moving your flag from the original position, the flag must be placed onto an exile floor part or the placement will fail. This would prevent people from levitating flags off the ground.
Hello. Before I want to tell you my problem, I want to let you know, that I'm from Germany. So my english isn't very good. ___ I want to use the command "move" for a chopper. First I spawn an flying chopper and a pilot. I set the pilot into the chopper as driver. params ["_position"]; _newUnit = objNull; _pilot_group = createGroup opfor; _veh = createVehicle ["O_Heli_Transport_04_bench_F", _position, , 0, "FLY"]; "O_helipilot_F" createUnit [_position, _pilot_group, "_newUnit = this;", 1]; _newUnit moveInDriver _veh; So now I have a empty object ( a wall ) called "Fly_POS1". Now the pilot should fly to the position of it. But it doesn't work. Here a all variations I have tried: _veh move position Fly_POS1; _group _newUnit move position Fly_POS1; // _newUnit is the pilot _pilot_group move getMarkerPos format ["%1", position Fly_POS1]; // Here. The chopper begins to fly. But it flys always to the south of the map and wants to land on the top of the water :/ _veh doMove position Fly_POS1; I also tried to use coordinates to test it: _veh move [7088.17, 8513.67]; _veh move [7088.17, 8513.67, 10.0];
Cannot seem to move crates with the latest update, no option available on scrollwheel. (0.9.35) Crate is empty. Attempted to relog, this did not resolve the issue. Recent actions taken in case related: flying littlebird, purchase pinpad, move door, drive boat, chop wood, create fireplace, access safe.
