  1. Hi everyone, I just wanted to post here to let you know that ArmAdmin has now officially gone live and is open to registrations. ArmAdmin has been under development for a few months and is now ready for release, but you may ask what exactly is 'Armdmin'? It's a 100% web-based platform that is designed to allow server owners remote access to their server from any device or web browser - that includes your phone, tablet and of course laptop/desktop computer. I started this project because at the time I used a GSP (game service provider) and didn't have my own server. For those of us who rely on GSP's you'll notice that they don't like you loading server mods (DLL files specifically..) and that kills a lot of your options, so I made something that doesn't need any server-side mods and should work with any GSP. With this in mind I made it to support RCON. From there I built out a number of other features that are not in the standard RCON feature set. The RCON connection is established and runs 24/7/365, or at least while your server is online! I finished the initial build in February but some of the beta testers requested server-side mod support, and although my main reason for creating ArmAdmin was to give non-dedicated server owners something usable I eventually found beta testers asking for a server-side option, so I made that too. Right now ArmAdmin fully supports RCON and also contains a server-side mod for dedicated windows and linux servers that will report on: CPU usage, server FPS, server uptime, RAM usage, object counts, territory counts, disk IO. At the core is community support. Since most servers have multiple mods/admins they can sign up and then you can invite them to join your community and assign specific access privileges to them all the while still maintaining ownership and full control over your servers. I could talk forever about features but here's a brief overview. - Simple but powerful dashboard control interface - Online and monitoring all day, all day every day - 24/7/365 - Community support. Multiple users under one account. - Full RCON protocol support - Full server side addon support - Real-time sidechat activity - Unlimited, categorised and searchable logging of sidechat activity - Works on any device and any web browser - Task scheduling - Historic logging of player counts - Fully customisable chat keyword match system - Categorised and searchable logging of keyword matches - Logging of player information including IP address, BattlEye GUID, time/date and geographic location - List of all active online players including IP address, port, BattlEye GUID and geographic location - Remote shutdown and restart functionality - Remote kick/ban functionality - Multi-user task scheduling and management system - Quick to see active player count and restart/shutdown server - Sleek, easy to use interface - Live maps: see where players and territories are located on the map My best suggestion is to register on the website and check it out yourself over at To address some points because I guess people will ask: 1. Data (in any shape or form) is NOT shared with any second, third, fourth or 99th parties. Your privacy is taken seriously. 2. Your data (literally all of it) is encrypted. Your community password is the encryption key. You and your admins/mods can view your data but nobody else can. Not even me - I don't want to. 3. Yes, you need to put in your RCON password. But to be fair I don't know why everyone is so touchy about that but happy to run executable DLL's on their server if it means not giving away their password (think about that for a minute). 4. We are happy to communicate and work with with GSP's. Your GSP won't let you load server-side stuff? Tell them to email They still won't let you load DLL's/SO's? ArmAdmin will still work fine, you just won't be able to see the FPS, CPU usage etc. 5. We care. We're human. We care about the Arma community and developers and love both of them. If you have a problem or any reasonable criticisms please let us know and we'll do everything we can to address it. 6. What is the cost? There is no cost for basic monitoring over a 24/7 RCON connection. If you need to remotely manage your server or use the server-side addon there is a charge of US$7/month for a single server or US$10/month for unlimited servers. More can be seen at On that note please keep in mind that ArmAdmin has just come out of beta. Although things have been tested within our capabilities there may be some underlying issues, but if you report them they will be fixed. Now that the service has been launched we will begin development on further features such as blacklisting, whitelisting, VPN blocking, country blocking, VIP slots, steam UID lookups and more. I want to give a shout to some beta testers who stuck around and gave some great feedback: StokesMagee Chernaruski Maverick87Shaka Wabbit
  2. Good morning, I have a nitrado server, which has always worked, and when there were "CUP" updates, I updated them and fixed the relative keys. But lately after the cba_a3 update I don't see the server even if it's online and upon restart the mission returns this message to me: "Check your RCON password. If you've changed it, restart the Server game. After restarting, wait a few minutes for the RCON connection to be ready." The server boots up on the server, it is not visible on the luncher arma3, and if they feel the direct connection, it hangs on load. Before throwing myself headlong into altering everything, I would first listen to you experts, with some advice. Thanks for your help!
  3. when server will restart not show message before restart . This bug happen after update to 0.98 class RCON { serverPassword = "password"; useAutoLock = 1; restartAutoLock = 10; restartTimer[] = {3, 0}; useAutoKick = 1; kickTime = 5; useRestartMessages = 1; restartWarningTime[] = {20, 15, 10, 5, 3}; useShutdown = 1; };

    Best Rcon tool?

    What are people's thoughts on the differant RCON tools out there? we currently use battlemetrics but find aspects of it a bit odd and buggy. One that looks good is arma remote admin but if anyone has used/is using it their opinions on it would be appreciated Thanks.

    Rcon Issue

    So I am having the strangest issue. I have multiple servers running on my dedibox with tcadmin v2. 1 of my servers however, no matter what I do, the rcon never loads properly. I have the profile folder called exileprofile within that is the rpt files, logs along with folder battleye and in that folder is the beserver.cfg in my @exileserver folder is my config.cfg and basic.cfg for the server settings. and the extdb-conf.ini which i also have in there the rcon port, ip and password in the config.cfg I have passwordAdmin = "******"; serverCommandPassword = "******"; which i have the same password as my rcon pass. Once i start the server up, the beserver.cfg changes to something like BEServer_active_5a10.cfg which would indicate to me the server has found the beserver.cfg and is now using that file. in that file: RConPassword ****** MaxPing 600 RConIP RconPort 2326 in my rpt i get this: 16:44:22 "ExileServer - Server is loading..." 16:44:22 "ExileServer - ServerPassword MISMATCH!!! rcon features DISABLED!" anyone have any ideas on what i need to do to fix?

    RCON tools can't connect

    Hello all! Thanks for your help in advance. I have an exile server all set up and running fine. The one thing I can't for the life of me figure out is why NO rcon tools can connect to the server. All I want is to be able to chat ingame without actually firing up A3. I've tried Dart, EPM, battlewarden, MSRcon, no dice on any of them. I have beserver.cfg placed in <serverroot/battleye> with RconPassword XXXXXXX in it. The rcon password is set in the exile config. Battleeye = 1 set in config.cfg. I know there has to be something stupid that I'm forgetting, but I ran a arma 2 server for a long time, so I know at least half of what I am doing. Is there something I'm missing? Something that has to be set specifically for arma 3 or exile that's different from arma 2/ dayz? I've been googling for hours and can't find anything that helps. Does anyone know what could be the problem? Thanks everyone! Great game, great community!

    Rcon issues in server.cfg

    Hi all. I am a noob admin with exile. Ran aoa2 dayz for years. I have searched for correct server.cfg for rcon. I cannot connect with many variations of rcon and I am very confused. Hosthavoc says it should be It would be: RConPassword password I tried it and it does not connect. I then tried rcon_password="mypassword"; and rcon_password=mypassword; Nothing. How do the masters (you) do it? Thanks. Kill

    Unable to connect with RCON

    Hi everyone. I know there are a lot of existing threads about that subject: I read and tried all of them. But I still can't get my RCON to work. First of all, I am running a Linux server (Ubuntu 15.04) so: NOT Windows. The RCON password is set in the BEServer.cfg in /serverroot/battleye/. The same password is set in the repacked exile_server_config.pbo and in the config.cfg. My startup script contains the option "-bepath=[path-to-battleye]" (this path is also correct). I double-checked everything I just said. The server is perfectly running, I can join and play on it. Battleye is running (the console is showing it, and I can get kicked for using non-authorized scripts). I tried to connect with a ton of different RCON tools like EPM, DaRT, MsRcon... even locally from a python script (as all of the RCON tools are Windows-only) and it didn't work. Here's some of the errors: Connection failed for server : [servername] Couldn't connect to server! 2016-03-13 13:11:50,344 INFO Connecting to #1 2016-03-13 13:11:50,344 DEBUG Sending login information 2016-03-13 13:12:00,355 ERROR Socket timeout: timed out [2016-03-13 | 12:53:55] Failed to connect. Please make sure that you properly set a password in beserver.cfg and the server is running. I know these errors are not really helping but this is the only thing I have. I spent the last 3 hours (and the entire last night) searching the internet for clues, but after all this time, still nothing. Can you help me find a solution? Thanks to you all, Pixmaip.

    [SOLVED] RCON not working with Namalsk

    First off, we do have beserver.cfg set up properly. We currently have another server on the same PC that works fine on a different port and we had multiple serers without issue for years and this is the first time this has occurred. ANY help would be appreciated. Thank you! NOTE: Changing the port to the other server but leaving the BE path "as is" works fine so it has something to do with the server. Here is the log file: MBCon - by maca134 ========================== Config file found, continuing to load... Loading BEClient... Loading Plugins... Connecting to server... 16. I have used BEC for a pretty long time. Any time i have setup BEC, i have done it manually instead of the UEP thing, this time i used the UEP - HOWEVER , i redid the entire install as if i had done all of the UEP thing. Host Server Configuration: Dedicated blade on a provider to Vilayer, not Vilayer themselves - NEVER gain... ESXi 5.5 - all firewalls were dropped for testing via SSH CLI Game Server Config: Windows Server 08R2 8 GB ram no firewall during testing Used port checker to test ports inbound and outbound. all are open and respond to telnet Added info: I also cannot get ANYTHING to connect internally or externally to my network to the Arma 3 Exile server. dARt, Mcrcon or something and like 4 others. All give the same cannot connect message. I cannot get it to connect to the Batteye server. The error i get is : Now, here is my server's start .bat text: Now here is my BEC config text: Now here is my BEC Client Start.bat: Attached is my folder structure picture, ignore the battleye folder please My big issue is I have researched this for DAYS and all i find are posts where people seemed to just not understand how to setup BEC or rcon for that. Is there a setting besides the 1 for battleye = 1 and making sure the password matches? What can i be missing. Another thing, when y'all find a solution to an issue, PLEASE lol for the love of god, post that for the guy that is having the same issue. Instead of: "FIXED, nm dum" or "Solved...." give some details. Thanks for looking guys! Josh
  17. You know when the server is ready, the RPT displays a "server is ready/can now accept players!" message. How could we alter that code so that the message is visible in remote tools like DaRT, EPM etc?
