Crashes? Please help!

Question

When the Arma 3 .exe crashes, there is no usable info at all for us. We can only guess what it could be, as crashes can only be debugged with access to the Arma 3 source code - which we do not have.

If the latest version crashes for you, please post the following filled out. Maybe it can help us to at least get a hint what it could be.

Thank you!

When does it crash for you?
(Answer here)

What was the last thing you have seen before it crashed?
(Answer here)

Does it crash every time or just sometimes?
(Answer here)

Which Arma version and branch (Stable, Dev, RC/Sneak Peak) are you running?
(Answer here)

Which Arma DLCs do you own? Karts? Marksmen? APEX? Helicopters? Zeus?
(Answer here)

Which operating system are you using?
(Answer here)

Are you using a custom memory allocator? (-malloc start-up parameter)
(Answer here)

Please let off some steam here
(Rant here)

If possible, please show us your .rpt file, e.g. via Pastebin

If possible, upload the last "Minidump" (.bidmp and .mdmp files) here. You can find them next to the .rpt

Thanks everyone for the help so far!

There is a new build of the upcoming Arma 3 .exe which seems to solve this issue. Can anyone please try this and post feedback here? That would really help!

Please download the Arma 3 164 Perf. v2 build here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B03-H4YIbhkFU0ppb3VUaS1YVHc

Make a backup of your arma3.exe, rename the downloaded .exe to "arma3.exe" and put it into your Arma 3 directory. Then boot and see if it crashes when connecting to a server.

Thank you!
