Help with CUP vehicles please

12 posts in this topic

Hey hoping to get some input here. I do have cup installed with cba and everything on the server is loading fine. I have the class and the vehicle placed and the vehicle shows to be sold by the vendor, yet on the vendor list the name is invisible, and when the vehicle is purchased, nothing happens, just takes your money. Any ideas? I thought maybe it was because the server is not requesting the client loads CBA and CUP? I am not sure

EDIT: Definitely not that it is not loaded, forced the load of the mod and still the same result.

Here is what I have

@Exile;@Ryanzombies;@Extended_Base_Mod;@CBA_A3;@CUP_Weapons;@CUP_Units;@CUP_Vehicles;

class Choppers
    {
        name = "Helicopters";
        icon = "a3\ui_f\data\gui\Rsc\RscDisplayArsenal\itemacc_ca.paa";
        items[] =
        {
            "Exile_Chopper_Hummingbird_Green",
            "Exile_Chopper_Hummingbird_Civillian_Wasp",
            "Exile_Chopper_Huey_Green",
            "Exile_Chopper_Huey_Armed_Green",
            "Exile_Chopper_Taru_Black",
            "Exile_Chopper_Taru_Covered_Black",
            "Exile_Chopper_Taru_Transport_Black",
            "Exile_Chopper_Orca_BlackCustom",
            "Exile_Chopper_Mohawk_FIA",
            "Exile_Chopper_Huron_Black",
            "Exile_Chopper_Hellcat_Green",
            "CUP_B_CH53E_USMC"

and added this below the flags section

///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
    // CUP Vehicles

///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
    class CUP_B_CH53E_USMC                                { quality = 4; price = 50000; };

I was trying to add a CH53 so you don't have to figure it out by reading.

*SOLVED* If you have this problem just delete your mods for cba and cup on steam. It was a local file issue for some reason. Once I deleted those and reinstalled it was good to go. Thanks for your help

I'm assuming you have the close brackets at the end of class Choppers.

When you look at your rpt file, does it say CUP_Vehicles loaded with the server?

13:14:41 ==== Loaded addons ====
13:14:41
13:14:41 dta\bin.pbo - 139586
13:14:41 dta\core.pbo - 108474
13:14:41 dta\languagecore_f.pbo - 108412
13:14:41 C:\TCAFiles\USER\@CUP_Vehicles\addons\cup_airvehicles_a10.pbo - unknown
13:14:41 C:\TCAFiles\USER\@CUP_Vehicles\addons\cup_airvehicles_ah1z.pbo - unknown

and I get this under the list of mods

CUP Vehicles 1.8.0 |        @CUP_Vehicles |      false |             GAME DIR | 1f40e83c6575714737ffffcedb0968e29970ff42 |  ce23c7e1 | C:\TCAFiles\USER\@CUP_Vehicles

Not sure if that is what you are requesting or not

I'm not entirely sure then. Just double check the end brackets of  class Choppers, other than that the only thing I can think of is you are in the server without running CUP_Vehicles if you don't have it declared. This would cause you not to see objects related to the mod.

Do I need to add them under the mission.sqm addons?
