Server Auto Restart don't work

Question

Hi Folks!

First I have to say, I love all of you guys. Thanx for all your support! If the rest of the world would be such a great community, ...

I'm going crazy with that "Auto-Restart"-Thing....

Configured all like in Exile-Setup-Description... -> no messages, no kick, no lock, no restart...

I did:

-> no messages, no kick, locking works, no restart...

If I close the Server manually by closing the Window, the server monitor starts it again. perfect! So right now i'm usin' the taskscheduler to kill the arma3server.exe every 6h.

The Monitor starts it again. thats really dirty....

Any assumptions?

thanx in advance

Use Infistar or Exile to do the shutdown. It works, so invest time in that...

Then save this as "Server_Start.bat" in your mission file root.

Spoiler

@echo off
color 0a
title Exile YOUR SERVER MISSION Monitor
:Serverstart
echo Launching YOUR SERVER MISSION Server
YOUR SERVER DRIVE LETTER D:
cd "YOUR SERVER PATH"
echo Exile YOUR SERVER MISSION Server Starting!
start "Arma3 Altis" /min /wait arma3server.exe -mod=@exile; -servermod=@Exileserver; -config=@ExileServer\config.cfg -port= -BEPath=Battleye  -profiles=RPTs -cfg=@ExileServer\basic.cfg -name=CHANGEME -autoinit

goto Serverstart

Edit the "YOUR SERVER MISSION" and "YOUR SERVER DRIVE LETTER D:" and "YOUR SERVER PATH" AND "CHANGEME" in the Bat script and set the port.

You have a simple reliable method to restart your server.
