Anyone having any issues with this script with the new update?  Got players spawning in dead when halo spawning, they seem to float in the air for a second with no wind noise and then ragdoll on the ground 2 seconds later.  Saw a few threads on this and tried what they suggested, Magee had some insight but his script addition didn't work.  Looking for answers, until then I'll just turn off halo spawning.

It's a known, documented issue with that particular map for some reason. I'm not sure anyone ever figured out a fix?

Thanks Kuplion, you've actually done quite a bit for this community.  If I turn off halo jump it still spawns with a chute, it's just open on spawn, that might be the fix for now, i'll just set altitude to 500 or something.

I am on Altis map. Having an issue where if people choose Base Spawn, they sometimes get spawned in the NW ocean and have to suicide to respawn. Anyone know how to fix this?

Since Arma 3 1.90, there's a missing definition widthRailWay in RscMapControl
To fix, search for alphaFadeEndScale = 0.4; in the mission file and underneath it add:-

widthRailWay = 1;
