thanks for coming back to me bro

so it must be like this

class CfgFunctions
{
    #include "ExAdClient\CfgFunctions.cpp"

     #include "CfgFunctions.cpp"
};

No you would want to just take the #include line from the description.ext file for the exad, go into the cfgfunctions.cpp you got from the framework system and add it in there just before the closing bracket. Then remove the remains from the description.ext file that you had in place first for the exad function section.

like this?

class CfgFunctions
#include "ExAdClient\CfgFunctions.cpp"
{

    class ExileExpansionMission
    {
        class Bootstrap
        {
            file="bootstrap";
            class preInit
            {
                preInit=1;
            };
        };
    };
};

have you ever tried a diff between filea on prod and dev?

maybe a difference which makes it work on one but not the other

No I haven't. I'm honestly not entirely worried about it not working on my test server as long as it's working on the main server

    };
};

It has to be either right after the opening bracket in there or right before the closing bracket.
