Posting in here for visibility.

We cannot upgrade walls using a fortification kit and I can't seem to find any info regarding a fix bar someone posting with the same issue last week.

https://pastebin.com/FcttTMPz Server rpt.

Actual error...

ExileServer - Network message dispatch failed: Parameter count mismatch! Payload: [""isnwrgxk"",""upgradeConstructionRequest"",[58993200# 1197221: exile_construction_woodgate.p3d]]"

Just got back into running servers after a 2 year break so maybe I'm missing something daft?

Server is hosted via GSP running extdb3.

We've tested it and everyone has the issue so not clientside.

My specs?

4790k @4.8ghz

32gb ddr3 ram

980ti.

Any help and I would be eternally grateful :)

What I've tried to rectify the issue.

Checked ExileServer_object_construction_network_upgradeConstructionRequest;   ExileServer_system_network_dispatchIncomingMessage;  ExileServer_system_network_send_to; with diff merge against fresh downloads on 1.0.4a. I've reinstalled Exile_server.pbo, @Exile mod into root,  applied 1.0.4a hotfix and still we cannot upgrade base parts :( getting the following error ExileServer - Network message dispatch failed: Parameter count mismatch! Payload: [""isnwrgxk"",""upgradeConstructionRequest"",[58993200# 1197221: exile_construction_woodgate.p3d]]"

Halp Please.... :(

I've had the same problem. I uninstalled Occupation and Exad (+ some override scripts in the mission file) and I've not experienced this kind of crash anymore for about ~1 week.

@PVRIS If you are playing on a server that is getting regular death loops then you'll need to bring this up with the server admin and they'll need to post the issue on these forums if they believe it's an Exile problem and not something unique to their server. I say this because they'll need to provide server logs and information on how the server has been configured, not something you can do as a player.

On a side note, Exile 1.0.4 has been out for many months now and there have been no reported death loop issues with the core Exile mod to the best of my knowledge. I'd suspect at this stage it's something unique to the server you are playing on and not something wrong with the core Exile mod which is what this thread was for. Thank you very much for following the template for bug reporting however! :)

I'm no expert but I  had some death/respawn loops when I had a DB crash / issue. Maybe worth it checking the MySQL\Logs and Exile DB logs in @ExileServer\extDB\logs. Exile server will start without DB available but you have zero chance to spawn a bambi body
