bugs or not setup correctly?

5 posts in this topic

I know Vishpala said "I'll be writing a separate blog on how to setup and run an Exile Escape server " but I thought I would give it a try to get an Exile Escape server up and running. The server runs and we can connect to it and play but I am getting a few errors in the RPT so not sure if they are bugs or I have not quite got it set up correctly.

Currently, the only table that populates with data in the database is "account". "game_data", "player" & "player_history" are all empty even after a few games.

In my RPT log, I am getting these errors.

Also while in the game the border does not seem to be getting any smaller.

I am running the ExileEscape.tanoa mission, connected to a database created using the exileEscape.sql file and have enabled escape in exile_server_config.pbo.
This is on a freshly installed Exile server (1.0.4a) and I have not installed any mods etc so stock files.

Anything I am missing or are these bugs with escape currently?

Hi, I set up a Escape sever using Ext DB3 and is working fine, just player table is empty, but it does not affect the game. Area is shrinking fine, but take into account that the configurable round time its in fact the time for shrinking  the circle!!!!

Do you have a link for how to use Ext DB3? I'll give that a try. I set the round time to 1 min to test but still, nothing happens.

I have this fixed now. Was an issue with the database creation.

How did you fix it? Mine does the same.

Fixed: need to make sql-mode="" in you mysql my.ini file.
