ExAd Deploy Vehicle - Weird Icon

Question

Hi all,

I've managed to get ExAd installed, and working with a deploy vehicle script (This one if you are interested).

However, I seem to have two icons for it... (See below image)
https://gyazo.com/3a9556172d78d4ac561dc8b5758b4df0

Here is my code snippet from config.cpp (note if i comment out the  extra apps line the extra icon goes away, BUT the deploy vehicle doesn't work)

Spoiler

    extraApps[] = {"ExAd_Mozzie"};

    class ExAd_Mozzie
    {
        title = "Deploy Mozzie";
        controlID = 50400;
        config = "ExadClient\XM8\Apps\DeployVehicle\config.sqf";
        bambiState = 0;
        vehicleClass = "RwG_Mozzie_Carl_Orange"; //Exile_Bike_QuadBike_Fia
        recipe[]={{"Exile_Item_DuctTape",-1}};
        packable = 1;
        autoCleanUp = 1;
        //quickFunction = "['ExAd_Mozzie'] call ExAd_XM8_DV_fnc_spawnVehicle";
    };

-------------

class XM8_App05_Button: RscExileXM8AppButton1x1
{
    textureNoShortcut = "ExAdClient\XM8\Apps\DeployVehicle\mozzie_icon.paa";
    text = "Deploy Mozzie";
    onButtonClick = "['ExAd_Mozzie', 0] call ExAd_XM8_DV_fnc_spawnVehicle";
    resource = "";
};

Can anyone shed some light? It's bloody annoying having that erroneous button.

Thanks
Thorgilis

When i setup my exad, I had moved it from the exile 1.0.3 to the new 1.0.4 and used this guide to complete to transition.

There is now a new exad for 1.0.4, I know in one or the other there was a reference to strange icons in a corner, due to a duplication from exad and the one now built into exile.. I don't know off the top of my head what that was. But this should give you a place to start.

If as your image suggest your referring to the ExAD logo, there is a place to comment out just that, but it's part of the status bar function.

on second thought.. that is a result of overlapping function. .Look thorough that post i linked it is in there. It references all the icons stacking in a corner.

Here is the post, see if this helps.

Thanks, I found that post earlier, and replicated the stated settings. It gives me an icon in the correct place within XM8, and no erroneous extra one. However the button doesn't function, and I get no Deployed vehicle. If i add the extraApps[] = {"ExAd_Quad"}; code, I get double icon issue, but the one within XM8 works.

I've recently installed A3Server fresh, along with the latest version of Exile, and ExAd. So am utterly confused.

Edit:
Clicking the erroneous icon when it is there takes you to a blank XM8 Page.

See snippet/screenshot, ExAd_Quad, has one proper button, ExAd_Mozzie has two, one proper and the erroneous one. The Mozzie button in XM8 spawns the Mozzie, the Quad button does nothing, the erroneous button takes you to a blank XM8 screen.

Key: green cirlce = works, red circle = spawns nothing, blue circle = takes you to blank XM8 Page

why do you have \ in the quad entry? [\'ExAd_Quad\']  might be the quad issue.
