Server frequently restart

9 posts in this topic

May i get some help here. I just build a completly fresh pure EXILE server without any mods but when i start the server the control window says "restarting" every 40 seconds. Then a new window comes up where it says reading mission and after that my server restarts again.

Someone got an idea what did i wrong?

PS. at the first try i got an error message where it says that my system needs a VC***140.dll file. After i installed it i get this permanent restart error

Sry for my bad english...

Do you have the following installed?

Directx

MySQL

vcredist_x64

vcredist_x86

If not, please follow this guide, but replace the old version of Exile with the newest one. (This guide is for 0.9.35)

I'm having the same issue, I originally got a VCRUNTIME140.DLL missing error. Reinstalled VCREDIST_x64 and 86 which got rid of the error but now the server won't finish loading as described above.  I followed S. newly updated tutorial to the letter with a fresh install on a local machine.

Any help would be much appreciated.

OMG! Just call me a big "kacknoob" (It's german). I just forgot to set the DB password in the extdb-conf.ini file.

Hours wasted just to find out that was my only problem.

...i really have to learn that log files are a powerful tool! 9_9

THX for your help...
